In February 2019, gekartel AG installed 53 digital house panels in the house entrances and stairwells of Stendaler Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH (SWG) together with our installation partner Fischer Haustechnik. SWG has already ordered 22 additional digital house boards, which will be installed during 2020 after modernization and construction work has been completed by the end of the year.
SWG underlines its claim as a modern landlord and also uses the latest technology for its digital house notices.
For example, SWG is one of the first housing companies to show its tenants current timetable information via an app on the digital house board. The Internet connection for the digital information boards, which is also necessary for this, was largely implemented via LAN and, on a few devices, via an LTE radio module. SWG is the first real estate company ever to display third-party advertising on the display surface of its digital home boards.
Gekartel AG was able to prevail against three other providers in the official tender by Stendaler Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH in the summer of 2018 with its digital house board. SWG is the largest landlord in the Altmark with over 4,000 of its own apartments. It rents, manages and sells apartments, commercial properties and land. Most of the SWG houses have been extensively renovated in recent years and modernization will continue in the coming years.
