The Chemnitz Settlement Community (CSG) has long relied on the digital house board to always provide its tenants with up-to-date information. Many older tenants are currently trying in vain to book a vaccination appointment via the central hotline. CSG board member Ringo Lottig finds this situation problematic and had a brilliant idea: He works with the DRK and uses the mobile vaccination teams for specially organized vaccination campaigns for his tenants.
Since the beginning of the year, mobile vaccination teams from the DRK and ASB have been vaccinating residents in nursing homes. Currently, many seniors have already received immunization. The CSG is now using the free capacity of the mobile vaccination teams to offer group appointments for its residents and to relieve them of the tedious task of organizing appointments.
