The unique manufacturing method of efecto concrete furniture
Unlike conventional manufacturing, efecto does not pour the concrete into molds. Instead, concrete slabs are pre-cast. The raw material for this is produced from cement, sand and gravel, water and natural additives in an industrially optimized and thus resource-saving way. The low material thickness combined with high stability is achieved by an inserted reinforcement of glass fiber. The panels are then cut to size and glued together without joints to form the desired element. This creates solid-looking lightweight elements. These do not place any special static requirements on the object and can therefore also be planned and installed in old and existing buildings without any problems. In addition, they are non-combustible according to fire protection class A1.
Corridors and auditoriums with escape and rescue routes in public buildings are subject to high fire protection requirements and therefore often remain unused.
